Delivery and Return Policy

  1. Orders will only be dispatched to you when we have received cleared payment.
  2. We reserve the right to cancel an order in whole or part if we suspect fraud or identity theft.
  3. As a buyer, you indicate where in South Africa you require delivery, as well as contact numbers to be used in connection with delivery.
  4. Nationwide delivery is a flat rate fee of R99, we will use The Courier Guy (door-to-door). Use the following details to track your order:

  • As soon as your order has been dispatched, we will advise you by email and send you a tracking number so you can track your delivery.
  • Orders made before or on a public holiday as well as over a weekend, are only dispatched the following working day.
  1. To initiate a return or exchange, kindly contact us at support@hoedje.co.za within 7 days of receiving the product. Please indicate the items you wish to return and the reason for the return. 
  2. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  3. Please note that return delivery fees will be for the client's account.
  4. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and undamaged, with swing tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  5. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at support@hoedje.co.za.
  6. Exchanges must be actioned within 7 days from delivery to qualify for a refund. If only actioned after 7 days, a credit note will be issued to the client.
  7. Please note that an exchange will be for the client's account (sending back the item) but we will send the desired item to our account.
  8. Items bought during a promotion or a sale do not qualify for refunds or exchange.
  9. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at support@hoedje.co.za. if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
  10. European Union 14-day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.  As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.  You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase

  1. South Africa Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

Our returns policy is governed by the consumer protection act. Unless mentioned above, the provisions of the CPA will prevail.
