Hoedje uses organic linen consisting of 55% hemp and 45% GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton. It’s a more eco-conscious alternative to conventional linen fabric. The GOTS label ensures that zero pesticides, chemical fertilisers and artificial dyes are used in the manufacturing of these materials. The organic silk lining, ties and labels are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified – 100% free from harmful chemicals, artificial softeners, bleaches and dyes.
